The Holy In Poetry: A Four Week Zoom Series, 2:00-3:00 pm CST, Thursdays (3/27, 4/3, 4/10, 4/24) in March and April 2025, $60.

Offered through the Sophia Spirituality Center at Mt St Scholastica, a Benedictine Monastery in Atchison KS. Scholarships are available.

Poetry distills pieces of truth we have discovered in the living of life. In its succinct, vivid language, poetry gives us space to SENSE the truth before intellectually acknowledging it. Poetry often reveals what is sacred and holy, thus speaking of the divine whether the poet names God or not. April is National Poetry Month, so join us for a four-week series exploring how the divine shines through poetry selections, including those of Mary Oliver, Hafiz, and Maria Ranier Rilke and John O’Donohue.
